About Us

We are a church that shares God’s love and truth beyond our walls, in workplaces, homes and the wider community, through authentic relationships, service and everyday faithfulness. In response to Jesus’ call in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19), we actively partner in God’s mission by praying for, supporting and walking alongside mission partners in Australia and around the world through giving, fellowship and going.

Our Vision

Our Vision is of a church where faith is deeply relevant and authentically lived; unthreatened by diversity and grounded in grace. A community that nurtures “holy spaces” where God meets His people, where His presence is known, worship is alive, and lives are gently transformed. We see our church living as a priesthood of believers - representing Jesus to the people around us, and carrying the hopes, needs, and stories of our community back to God.

Our PURPOSE is to help people grow in deep, personal relationship with Jesus, so that Christ’s presence, love, joy and hope are lived out in our relationships, our work and our wider community.

We believe in...

The one true God who lives eternally in three persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.

The Divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament.

The dignity of all people, made male and female in God’s image to love, be holy and care for creation. All people are corrupted by sin, which breaks their relationship with God and incurs His judgement.

The coming of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who took on human form – fully divine and fully human, yet without sin.

The atoning sacrifice of Christ’s death and His bodily resurrection, so reconciling us with God; His ascension to the Father, and His reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world. He died in our place, paid the penalty of sin and defeated evil enabling our reconciliation with God.

The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ.

The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, dwells in us and empowers our discipleship and witness.

The Church, both local and universal, and the priesthood of all believers. The Church is given the Spirit’s gifts to worship God and equip believers to proclaim the gospel, promoting justice and love.

The two ordinances of the Lord Jesus Christ, namely Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Communion):

Baptism is typified as the immersion in water of believers upon the profession of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a symbol of the relationship of the believer in Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.
The Lord’s Supper is a remembrance and celebration of the sacrifice of the body and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, until He returns.

The resurrection of the dead and the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to complete and fulfil the purposes of God for His creation.
