We do not glamorise conflict, but we do honour memories.
Our church has two honour boards to remember those who served in the First and Second World Wars.
Starting with only the initials and surname on those boards, Janine Wood has uncovered their full names, family background, military information, original address, and much more.
Across two publications we tell the origins and fates of 37 WW1 and 75 WW2 people who left our congregation and community to participate in World Wars 1 and 2.
Every one of them now has two pages of information and images to help us remember. These books also retell what the Canterbury these men left was like in their day.
Email us here or call 039 888 6660 if you wish to purchase these books.
