Sunday morning SERVICE:
Sundays from 10:00 AM to around 11:15 AM
We share in three main aspects of our vision. These show through in our services: 1. Each person's choice to hear about Jesus and have an active relationship with God. 2. Our call to gather as a faith community. 3. The mission to build a positive faith in the wider world.
After the service we share morning tea, a time of fellowship to which all are welcome!
Flame Kids Club during Sunday morning services provide opportunities for children to learn about God. The kids attend the beginning of the service until after the children's talk, then go to their age-appropriate groups:
Creche - Aged 0-2 years old
Fireflies - Kinder and Prep
Little Lights - Grades 1, 2 and 3
NITRO - Grades 4, 5 and 6
You can know that your child is in great hands while you worship God and learn from His Word!
Sunday PM SERVICE:
Sundays from 6:00 PM to around 7:15 PM
This service attracts youth and 'young at heart'. It has contemporary worship, leadership by inspiring young adults, and thoughtful teaching from our pastoral team and other guests. Everyone is welcome, including parents and any others who wish to be involved in the lives of young people. The weekly themes track with the rest of the church - so if you cant make it in the morning, join us for this!
These services are followed by SNAC (Sunday Night After Church), which is held either at the church building or at someone's house. It is a time of food, conversation, and room to build new friendships.
PREVIOUS SUNDAY MORNING SERMONS:
Connect Groups are the way in which we connect with each other and God during the week. We have groups for all ages - from teenagers through to seniors. We explore living as Christians in a hectic and pressured world and connect the teachings of the Bible to our daily lives. As a result, we make authentic and enduring relationships with others and find courage to become all that God wants us to be. Get connected to a CBC Connect Group to discover the extraordinary person God intends you to be. We encourage everyone to belong to a Connect Group!
If you would like to learn more about CBC Connect Groups, contact Keith on email@example.com.
Our young adult connect groups meet every Wednesday for Bible study, discussion, prayer and fellowship. The style is informal and laughter and lively chatter is the norm, but meaningful moments are never far away as people explore and share how to follow Christ in our world.
The young adults at CBC also meet for social events. Click here to download the program for the first half of 2013.
Youth Group (Oxygen):
Oxygen is the name of our youth group. We meet every fortnight on Fridays from 7:30 - 10:00 PM (unless otherwise specified). Each time there are games and activities and a time of discussing issues of faith relevant to high school students. All our events are open invites, so feel free to come along anytime.
The Oxygen program for the first half of 2013 can be downloaded here.
The youth also have their own small groups. The programs for the first half of 2013 can be downloaded here:
